I know what you're saying, I wouldn't buy a POS just because it's American. I wish the domestic manufacters would just wake up and produce better products. They seem so out of touch with reality it's comical, and that out of touch thinking seems to be the norm in corporate America. I've worked for a number of companies and they seem paralyzed by procedure, quotas, and policies. They have hiring practices which hire based on perceived qualifications, not on intelligence, ideas or abilities. Someone who thinks outside the box would never make it into the doors of most American companies. What you get is a large company with a "dream team" of inept people. Just think, in the depths of Pontiac, there were research teams, engineers, managers, directors, stylists, etc, that all made it past Pontiac's hiring practices, procedures, policies, etc, yet still they came up with the Aztec. It baffles the mind. I will, however, buy a good product if they made it. My daily driver is a domestic, a Saturn. And not surprisingly, Saturn was a company that was created to do something different, to "think outside the box" a little and come up with something better. I like that car, feels different than most domestics.
